I thought swinging started back in the ancient Greek times, bug the first instance of Swinging supposedly happened well over 50 years when the wealthiest members of the US Air Force moved their wives near their airforce bases during World War II. As there were more deaths in the the airforce than any other military unit, husbands of other women would look after the widows in a sexual way. After the Second World war, this culture was continued into the Korean war. By the time the Korean war had ended, swinging had incorporated into groups into the surrounding suburbs of the military bases. The public interest in swingers was immense, that the next decade, 1960's many magazines started to advertise swinger adverts and the first swinger clubs started to be formed till this very day. Throughout the 80's and 90's swinging got even more popular.
Swinging is commonly known as a couple meeting another couple, engaging in polite conversation then swapping partners for sex.
To participate in Swinging you can either attend a public event or in a private place where usually whatever status you engage in private conversation, a little flirting followed by diner. After talking if you think you are compatible with the other person, you may find away and you may swing away. At a public event, if it is at a hotel then there may be rooms to be rented or have already been paid for by the host for that night. If not you swingers may have to find another hotel or go back to yours or the other swinger's living quarters.
At the swingers parties normally its just attended by couples but in some cases single women are allowed to attend just to spice it up. Most parties have a limitation on the numbers of single men allowed to attend and participate. The Gay scene is not very popular throughout the swinger lifestyle neither is Bi Sexual men popular but Bi Sexual women are always welcomed in the Swingers lifestyle due to the fantasy of the male partners urge to have sex with other women and the fantasy for their female partners to have sex with another woman. Women who enjoys having sex with multiple partners can use the swinging community as a haven, as in normal social rings women who has a label, 'tart' whilst in the swinging community it is welcomed.
Swinging is a great activity to get involved in if you are in a loving relationship but you want to add extra spice to your relationship. Maybe the thought of your partner being with another swinger might turn you on, maybe having sex with another person could be highly arousing, or you may think it may improve your relationship with you and your partner. It is a bad idea to think that swinging will cure if you are in a dysfunctional relationship. Often or not a relationship which is not working is because of the lack of trust. Getting involved in swinging will just decrease the trust levels which will more than likely distroy your relationship.
You do not need to be married for you and your swinging partner to be involved. You need to know each other in an intimate manner and just generally know the person. It is a bad idea to go with someone you don't know as you will be asked questions by other swingers about yourself and your guest. Swinging is ultimately intimate and you and your partner must be intimate.
If you ever get to the situation where your partner to have sex you can either watch or not be present. You lay down the rules. You can exchange partners, flirt, have a laugh and then go back to your partner for sex or you can just have sex. The combinations are almost limitless and entirely up for you to decide.
You must treat swinger parties the same as you would as any other civilised party. Notify the host if you can or can not come, dress smart, engaging in polite conversation and refrain from aggressive attitude towards the guests and the other standards you would associate with parties in general.
